Good effort tonight
Mr. Stay ready nice game
Malakai obviously has talent and the Spurs do want to keep him, but for him its all mental. He has to understand he isn't Mr all Ohio here, he has to be consistent and effective every game, and he has to play with effort on defense every play. He feels like sometimes the lack of focus kills him and that's why Pop puts him on the bench more. He had a great rookie year and a bad second year so now he has to earn his minutes. I hope he can play well and secure a backup SG type position, but he has to prove he wants to be a different guy than a Lonny Walker type that gets kicked off the league after a few years
