It Might Already Be OVER for the Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks have started the season 1-3 despite a pretty favorable schedule in their favor with the Philadelphia 76ers lacking Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, a matchup against the tanking Chicago Bulls, and a game against the lowly Brooklyn Nets. But, they have not taken advantage of this schedule at all and just got blown out by their competition in the Boston Celtics. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard still don’t have a ton of chemistry, Khris Middleton’s status is up in the air, the defense is mediocre, Doc Rivers has coached them to a below .500 record in his tenure with the team, it’s all concerning even though the season is very young. So, let’s talk about it.

  1. If OKC wanted Giannis, they can outbid anyone. Otherwise, I could easily see a bidding war between the Spurs, Nets, Jazz, Rockets, Raptors, and Kings. The Spurs especially I think would be the most interesting team. It looks like De’Aaron Fox might also be on the trade market soon or a full free agent if if a team who has the cap space to pull that off like Brooklyn did, those two should easily be the greatest transition offence in NBA history. Not sure any teams but the Kings would realize that though. I’d love if Giannis was added to the Raptors but I think they’d still be a move or two away from contention with the roster. Trading for Andrew Nembhard or drafting Nolan Traore, Rocco Zikarsky, or Khaman Maluach would probably be enough. Basically, I think they’d still need a better point guard and to improve spacing, both at the guard positions and at center. That definitely needs to include rearranging the center position though.

  2. Getting Dame is the main issue. Dame is a scorer but 0 defense. Every PG that he guarded can easily scores against him. Changing their coach and getting ham is the 2nd issue.

  3. Yeah, having a coaching duo of Doc Rivers and Darvin Ham isn't really gonna pan out if you're the Bucks, especially Doc, who is simply milking from that 2008 Boston Celtics championship team which is why he kept getting hired and that is a red flag for every team.

  4. I mean they saw the Darvin Ham and Taurean Prince experience in LA and thought, i need me some of that! all next to a generational choker in Doc Rivers after trading away their best perimeter defender for a 34 y'o. nice

  5. Never liked the Dame and Giannis pairing. A better fit for Dame would be someone like Jokic who can set him up and set DHOs.

  6. Honestly how things happen I could see nets picking ace bailey or Harper both from Jersey .. but nets need everything but maybe a center so who knows. But I don’t think Flagg is a lebron or wemby type pick. This draft so deep n there’s alot of great young players who you guys haven’t seen yet ..

  7. they gonna lose next game against Memphis too, they cooked, I like some of their rookies and 2nd year guys, I'd say they should get a coach that can implement a system and start liquidating for the draft

  8. Genuinely dont know why Prince is playing the MOST minutes… Maybr Darvin Ham really is a toxin

  9. Trade Dame and Middleton for a vape and the pink Arizona.. good return for that $95m

  10. Age, no chemistry and no defense for all these guards that are torching them. Couple all this with the low draft capital….Giannis is gone in a yr or 2 I reckon🤔
