Bad defense, bad rebounding and lack of effort again. You get run off the court by Lively, Washington and Gafford every time you play them. Why are you not even trying to play Garza against Lively? At least he would give you some effort and box out. another 20 turnovers and made Doncic look like basketball Jesus again. Terrible job coach!
Not only is he a lazy coach but a dirty coach. Game plan was to injure Luka and their big man. You will never out physical players from the East world like European players because USA is soft and scared. Understand that Twolves best ability is speed so stop taking 3s. What you're doing is letting Mavs comfortably do a shoot out. The only way to slow down the Mavs shooting is to tired them out because you have faster players. This team is a grade C team.

The emphasis on 3 point shooting, faster playing has turned the Wolves from a rugged defensive team to a soft team (can you say Indiana) .
This play style negates the defensive strengths from McDaniel's and Rudy.
Cutting down the turnovers has to happen. I believe Finch is playing the starter heavy minutes right now to get the starters some familiarity with Randle coming aboard as they didn’t play much at all together during the offseason and preseason but the bench has to be involved more. I feel like it will but hopefully sooner than later.
Your terrible rotations need to come up, you need to have the guys watch the Awful Coaching videos so they learn how to hedge a screen. Maybe dont ice the guy who scored 25 in the first for 5 minutes in the 2nd smh. I think I am going to puke if you dont play Dilly in the non Ant minutes.

That stupid team got Luka hurt because their x defender ran behind him & stuck his leg between Luka's. What kind of defense is that? Wild & dangerous. Un-necessary, the play is fwd not running behind, defending by tripping & blocking legs & knees. Even the coach got injured by his own player in playoffs last season. What's he x talking about? Minnesota just doesn't play basketball in the north, more like ice fishing & snow cones. That poorly thought D gonna get everyone, everyone injured near the court. I dont understand why teams, especially ours, dont coach boxing out. We shoud have spent the last two to three years of camp drillin the hell out of boxouts. It used to be a skill most players seemed to have. No one does it now.
Maybe have better rotations and stop playing Joe Ingles. Sick and tired of these coaches wasting talent on the bench. I think the biggest problem with the team is their tendency to relax when they get a lead, and that's a COACHING issue. There has been a lack of discipline during Finch's time. It's unfair to ask Ant to make up for the shortcomings of everyone else.
Terrible coach. Trade Rudy start Luka Garza and Jesse Edwards. That big man PF center combo up is gonna box and guaranteed the board. We don’t lack defense it’s the bad coaching. From what I seeing and hearing Rob Dillingham is creating shots, consistently knockin downs 3s and passing with little to no turnovers. Take out Randle for Ried because Randle seem to be ball hogging. This is a rebuild around Ant so he can get to his spot catch and shoot comfortably
Conley is cooked. He needs to come off bench. Get Dillingham and divancinzo more minutes.
Everyone should calm down: 1. Our record was the same (2/2) this time last year, and we made it to the West finals. 2. We just played the Mavs & lost by 6. They're hardly an easy team.
Last year this team had an "Identity" in the beginning of the year which was a defensive team. I don't hear or see any talks about that identity this year.
The disparity in turnovers, fast break points, offensive rebounds and points in paint are just too high vs. Mavs. You can't give them so many easy buckets.
why cant the trail man fly out to the perimeter and the help defense create a wall. yea it takes alot of movement and will only work with the right personnel but the wrinkle should be enough to create a brief advantage while the offense figures out how to adjust. too often the trail is going to get abused bc luka iq and everyone plays that defense on him. similar to how defenses wall up against giannis and embiid. live with the 2 pt makes just DONT give him the and 1 unless you rlly sending a message. meanwhile he's icing his shot makers and getting them out of rhythm.
the offensive has to be more deliberate and designed to avoid fast break chances. ppl on the perimeter have to know their assignment and know when the corner crash is ok and when it is not. the top of the key guys have to be the safety man and keep everything infront of them. if a guy breaks you cant gamble above the break you gotta get back and try and get into a guarding position 1 on 1. defensive rebounds cant be the focus rn bc good looks and converting on good looks will more than not lead to a bucket. more important to set up your defense than to get a defensive board.
get that boy naz in the quarter back room man. give him the pig skin and have some people run simple ins outs at pace leading the receiver hitting inbounds and some fades to make sure he knows to float them curls can throw a dark. idk how you bullet pass to a rudy lob and the baseline one not seeing the full cross to lead him on or to wait for him to get to his spot. either wait for the player to get to their spot or throw the appropriate pass smdh…
