There's a reason the Mavs let Ant score; he has shown that he will fade late, so you just let him go for a quarter or so, and then he's done for the rest of the night. This would have been a massacre if the refs were not carrying the Wolves.

Luka's your daddy. And you can blame some random Wolves fan for the salt I'm about to rub into your wound cause they got me thinking more about this win. If they had just taken the L like a MAN I would've moved onto the next game by now. But it's just amazing how THOROUGHLY the Mavs whipped that ass. Yes, you can cry (like that Wolves fan did) that it was a sloppy game with 20 turnovers and that the Mavs winning by only 6 is somehow proof that the Wolves are really good team & maybe even better than the Mavs.
But I contend….this was a GIMME WIN for you guys. Like this was absolutely a scheduled loss for the Mavs. 7:30 tipoff in a game that went a little long because a dude had broken his ankle. So the Mavs would've had like a midnight flight after the game, landed in Minny at like 4am, and then had a 6:30 tipoff. The Mavs had just travelled across the country for their 2nd tipoff within 24 hours. And meanwhile, the Wolves have just been chilling at home for the past week and had a day or two off before the Mavs game. Like that's just cruel to do to some team. You give them a CROSS COUNTRY back-to-back? Couldn't have given them a Pacers/Pistons/Bulls/Bucks game the night before? Had to be a cross country flight.
HOW DO YOU LOSE A GAME LIKE THAT?!?!?! The answer is obvious…when Luka's your daddy.
Also, as a Mavs fan….what's the deal with Ant's conditioning? Every time I see Ant playing my team he's dogged tired and a complete Mr. No Show for the 4th quarter. Maaaaybe someone should let him know that it's incredibly hard, almost impossible, to win the game in the 1st quarter?
Oh yeah, and tell me why did ya'll extend Rudy Nobert again? I'm still trying to figure out why ya'll gave up like 18 draft picks to get him after Luka had thoroughly showed the world just how unplayable he is in the playoffs. Then he does it AGAIN but directly to you guys and ya'll figure "let's give him MORE money and years".
