Fire pop already smh
The first 20-25 games are about finding our offensive identity and working out the bad habits on defense. It can only go up from here. #GSG
I came to the comments before all the basketball coaching experts could chime in. Some ppl think Pop is washed and some think playing Mamu more is the key to turning games around 😂 This is literally another developmental season while actually trying to win. CP3 is probably gone in February. Pop only brought him here to teach the young guys how to play and CP3 only came here because he was guaranteed playing time. Spurs are still years away from being a contender
Popovich is in over his head
Wemby has gone back a bit on using his body this year. I realize he's probably tired from the summer, but he's very loose with the ball and his shot selection, but most of all he doesn't establish good position before asking for the ball. Instead of using his body to get position, he is using his arms to reach to passes. Another game tomorrow so no worries, but he should not let guys be more physical than him, the refs are allowing more physicality, so give the defense some physicality right back, worse case get a few offensive fouls and force the refs to call stuff more
I love you pop but if you were so passionate about the spurs winning as you are in your political views we’d be cruising to the finals …
"They are a better team". Ok, so your job is…? ¿having a horrible perimetral defense and throwing the ball like shit?
Maybe if you improve your coaching skills, maybe you will end games congratulating your own team, instead of kissing your opponent's ass.
And if its impossible to improve for an old champion like you, then your retirement is the best next step.

Hmmm I do have to question pops strategy.
Few critical possessions and the game would've been closer. Branham missing a shot when we were down 7 or so comes to mind, nevertheless he should be in the rotation ahead of Wesley.
Pop right okc is a playoff team but you still have to go out there & give em hell boyz don’t start giving up jogging back on Defense when it’s a 10 point game held them to 105 points when they back blown teams out by 15 way too many turnovers almost hitting a record turnover of 28 last year how we throw the ball around we are going to beat it Jazz later today no rest for the weary GOSPURSGOOOOO

Stop drafting players that have NO jumpshot. What's the point of having a defensive system when a lot of your players are defensive liabilities anyway? Can't wait until we draft another non-shooter or trade away our lottery pick for a 2051 draft pick. It's too bad the Spurs fanbase is also delusional as well and thinks Pop can do whatever he wants because of his tenure. We should have had Coach Bud once he was fired but we're stuck with this out of touch old fart.
