Honestly didn’t think this interview was bad at all, give it a look if you want. A little of him talking about the potential players and perhaps even willingness to mix and match them…I’m intrigued Thibs.

I’m going in with cautious optimism, looking forward to seeing our first showing on Tuesday. If we are in the hunt for a low playoff seed that’s enough for me for this year.
I hate this continuing narrative that he “doesn’t play young guys”. He does. RJ, Mitch, Grimes, IQ and Obi all had consistent roles all year (Sims in second half too).
The problem is when veterans struggle he’s too reluctant to try something different, which usually means playing young guys more.
Well he already said fournier probably starts. That means quickley and grimes backup fournier and rj for a coach who has almost never asked any of those guys to slide to the 4. No chance quickley gets pg minutes if Rose is healthy and Thibs never wanted to play him there even when we had no point guards. Reddish not going to play at all. Toppin going to back up Randle again for a coach who had bever played him at the 5. We also have 3 centers signed to multi year contracts.
The you g guys will not have major roles. Only Grimes has a shot if he replaces Fournier in the starting lineup. Maybe quickley gets minutes at pg if rose gets hurt again or toppin starts if randle shits the bed again.
But all signs point to a repeat of last year but with an average starting point guard.
