These are some good tidbits. It’s interesting and nice seeing you reiterate a lot of what I’ve heard in the bits and pieces throughout the offseason. Whatever it is the front office is seen behind closed doors with Josh Primo, they’re sentiment, and how they’re talking about him, is incredibly Eerie to how they talked about dejounte Murray and to a lesser extent Kawhi Leonard as rookies / young players.

Even before Murray had shown much at all the front office was highlighting him getting him in front of a camera whenever they could and seemed to never miss an opportunity to talk about his potential. With leonard it was even more direct, though to be fair he was a much more impressive young Prospect then the other two examples.

San Antonio has had a full year with him. The fact that they’re still so Sky High tells me their aspects to his game we haven’t fully been able to see him put together yet that are emerging within the confines of training and scrimmages. You can definitely see flashes here and there. Primarily with some of the high level passes he throws.

In a seasoned filled to the brim with Player Development stories worth following his, and how Jeremy Sohan asserts himself, are still my two favorite of the bunch.

  2. I get we’re not winning many games no matter who starts but I’m not sure I like the thought of Doug starting. I get he adds spacing for the young guys but if you throw him out there at the 4 the team’s gonna get absolutely destroyed on the boards especially now that Murray’s gone.

I said it about Wesley, that it seemed like he was the best player on the court in every summer league game, but he was out of control. That’s probably the one thing you can be almost be sure a player can fix with experience and exposure.

I’m telling you, Blake is going to be a BIG problem for the league eventually. You can’t teach that killer instinct and athleticism he has.
