@Miami Heat

Next season the Miami Heat will be paying: Jimmy Butler ~$45 million Bam Adebayo ~$32.6 million Tyler Herro close to $30 million Kyle Lowry ~$29.6 million Duncan Robinson ~18.2 million About $154 million for those five guys for a team that likes to duck the luxury tax. Hmmmm.

    Gonna be interesting next season with most of our team being free agents.

    What happens if this team has an early playoff exit?

    The main reasons we have avoided the tax are the team/owner gets a lot more money but also we can set up our own tax years when a lot of the repeater tax teams will be pulling out of the tax(these teams will be weaker at least financially and Miami isn’t missing out on tens of millions from the Warriors and other repeater tax teams).

    We go into the tax at a time the Warriors/Nets/Clippers will all likely be getting out of it. The Clippers might have another 2 years paying a shit load of tax dollars for end of Kawhi and PG’s primes but they will stop once the window is closed.
