In this video I did my first deep dive of a team that I believe will be a worthy challenger during the next decade of NBA Basketball: The Cleveland Cavaliers who now have 3 all stars in Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen and Donovan Mitchell, plus a prospect with generational potential in Evan Mobley.

I believe the Cavaliers have now cemented themselves as a team to respect for the foreseeable future, they’re young and full of talent, full of potential, and the league’s most defensively intimidating frontcourt of Allen as an anchor and main rim protector, and Mobley as a generational perimeter defender and help defender, just in case Allen needs some back up, sheesh! However they’re still a few pieces away from becoming truly deadly. In this video I look at their defense, its strengths and weaknesses. Thanks for watching!

  1. Do the Cavs have the best defensive frontcourt in the league? Do they have more trades on the way and who should they target? Let me know!

Making this video was fun, I learned a ton about new stats and how to effectively search for the information I needed. Going forward I'll be making more videos like this, hopefully at a much faster rate.

  2. Hi, I just found your channel because of your Cavs videos. I'm a huge Cavs fan I grew up watching them. This season should be very interesting, I do think we're a year or two away from competing but I wouldn't be shocked if we make a deep playoff run. I think that 3 spot is a big issue given I couldn't watch most of last year so I don't really know how good Dean Wade is. I haven't watched them much in the past three years but in the games, I have watched Garland, Mobley, and Allen were big contributors and Dean Wade didn't have his best nights. So we'll see who can step up but I really loved Okoro's defense good luck to your Thunder man
