  1. Damn man I rlly think if we did this trade we would be contenders but 2 frp for them is crazy

  2. WestVirginiaFan15

Most important part of this article, to me, was Shams saying how Jesse and Joey have way more organizational say now

  3. Buddy Hield and Myles Turner are not worth two first round picks

  4. Rentfreelakerfan

Joey and Jesse need to be running basketball ops

  5. JarradLakers

I’m in the “go all in” camp. I wish we could’ve made something work

  6. EvilGeniusGL

I don’t think these guys are worth the two firsts unprotected, but waiting for a perfect deal to fall into their laps could really backfire.

This is where I wish we had a real front office and not comfortable friends and family hires (not counting the Buss Bros…they’re legit). Pretty much calling out Mr. Slick lying ex agent and dummy mcdumbdumb.

  7. Bigrab2019

Trading for role players is not a blockbuster move

  8. It would be incredibly stupid to include 2 unprotected 1st when buddy Hield is part of the trade. Fuckin gross.

  9. aproperopinion

It sounds like the front office exhausted every scenario in sending Russ to Indy, two first rounders is too much to send without getting a superstar back

  10. chasinjason13

If these guys are available in 3 months still, we should be able to get them waaay cheaper. They risk losing turner for nothing

  11. MelloGangster

Training camp is over, at this point let Westbrook play a few games and see what happens

We’re going to be seeing articles and hearing rumors like this until the deadline. Either do the deal or make it known you’re rolling with this roster. This shit is one big cloud hanging over this team.

I would’ve did the trade & not even thought about it but let’s see how Russ does with Ham as his coach

  14. Boy… Media is just MILKING tf out of this story. Can’t wait to see next weeks report on how many calls these teams had as breaking news by B/R. 😂

  15. Honestly they made the right decision to decide “no”. That trade has too many worries with it to be worth all the assets

  16. TorontoRaptors34

I will never understand why Buddy Hield is viewed like Steph Curry on this sub.
He ain’t never played a real important game, he not a defender, he can jus shoot thats it.

Turner gets hurt like AD bro.

Rob made the right decision to not jump the gun. Those guys aren’t worth even a pick

My biggest take away from this is that Shams use of the Oxford comma isn’t just happenstance. His use of the Oxford adviser instead of more common advisor is deliberate.

Members in this sub are delusional thinking we are giving 2 FRP for buddy and turner. It’s more that they are worth a first and the second one is for sending Westbrook since he’s that bad given his contract. I would 100% do this due to the fact that Lebron only has a few more years and this is the best window to win again.

I don’t see how this is new info, didn’t that Indiana reporter for the Athletic say the Lakers/Pacers were engaged in trade talks a week back?

  20. AntSmith777

I wish Russ was gone but I’m glad we didn’t let Indiana fleece us. Westbrook and one first for just Turner would have been interesting though.

  21. How is it a blockbuster trade if no blockbuster players are involved? Isn’t it just a normal ass, run of the mill, depleted value trade?

  22. I like the ‘win now’ mentality but this is just crazy.

  23. zapatocaviar

Not worth 2 FRPs. Period. End of story. Everyone knows we’re in a tough spot in general and those picks could be good ones. I want the option of a great draft pick this decade.

  24. StoneColdAM

If Myles Turner wasn’t an expiring, Russ + 2 picks for the Indiana deal is 100% the right move. Since he is expiring, maybe swap one pick for a 2nd rounder or two. There seems to be traction here. Now I expect Russ to be given a fair trial, but he’s ultimately on the hot seat.

  25. PM_ME_UR__UPVOTE

They saw russ shoot and just gave up.

  26. xMadlyInsane

Good thing Westbrook didn’t get traded.
