  1. The three guys on the team with the lowest value are Birch, Dowtin and Hernangomez. Hopefully the raps can trade each one for a second round pick

  2. What I like about Koloko is how agile he is for his size which really helps him switch on and off of defenders as far as on the offensive end we don't need him to push himself too much yet just because of how many different scoring options we have on this team so it gives him time to get more locked into his defensive skillset first at the nba level and let the rest come later, I think Precious will still be really good for us aswell that dunk on kessler really showed that he's will to play to the basket and thats what you need if your struggling from the 3pt line which can happen, he did have a nice 3 in the game though, Scottie's handles looking even better from last season if he can run the point guard from time to time that will massively help with being able to have more lineup choices, also having banton or flynn take that next step would really be great for our bench depth.

  3. Hey, Amit I like your takes and knowledge of the game. Would love to have you as a guest on my show. Reach out to an up-and-coming creator. Thanks

  4. The dunk by Precious was spectacular. It reminds me of T-Ross's legendary dunk over Fareid in Denver – i.e. he looks like he's floating past the basket and then he flushes it. But I wish he would pass out of trouble more often and find the open man, like Gary did. As you say, Gary finally seems to have found shots he doesn't like. That's a good sign, although he's a pretty good maker of contested shots.

  5. i was at the game and the putback that koloko had is not done justice by the cameras. That dunk was CRAZY in the arena, everyone was freaking tf out.

  6. i dont want gary as a starter. its just we need preious to play center. if anyting change the starting lineup when needed

  7. Last night was a failure of Scotty as a PG experiment – he had some insanely bad passes. I'm the first one to say that it's possible that the Raptors choose to invest in a lot of Scotty mistakes to get him there, but the reality is that Nurse is expected to win so this is going to be a slow experiment. Precious, Koloko, and Josh Jackson stood out to me – we have to find a way to take Josh, play Koloko, and give Precious more court time.

  8. I think the important thing for you to look at for any of these debuts or performances is their defense and how they're contributing there. I'm sure it's the first thing the Raptors and Nick nurse are looking for. I've been invested in seeing how they look on the defensive side because that's what earns you minutes for this team. It's great if Hernangomez can make his 3s but Matt Thomas hit his 3s too. But because of his defensive deficiencies we cut Thomas. Obviously offense is important too but the Raptors seem to prefer developing defense first guys into offensive guys and effectively have a bunch of 2 way guys. Pascal coming into the league had the promise of a guy who will give you hustle effort and defense as a role player. Now look at him.
