He just didn’t fit the Lakers at all. Well, not sure if there are any teams he can fit into. He’s not young anymore. He just might have to wait a few years like Melo to be able to get his redemption. He should take less money, come off the bench and play the 6th man role.
I think waiting is the best option, at least until the trade deadline.
Try and move Russ for a package of players with a team who wants to rebuild? As Lebron & ideally AD can still be your #1 & 2 options.
Get a couple few players with 1.5-2.5 seasons left on there co tracts who can contribute.

I just think Jackson being out isn't a huge issue for the Grizzlies. They should have him back by January. And there's talent on the team for the to be competitive.
