I wouldn't trade both picks for Pacers deal. Myles turner has a expiring contract aftet this year.
I am not willing to give up the 2 FRPs for Turner and Hield. Not worth it definitely. No team is willing to take on him and we shall not be the one to pay so much for an unwanted player ( I am sure if he ask for less, he'd be attractive to many teams)
Trading for turner now will obtain his birds right as well?
Part of the reason Westbrook suffer last season defensively may be because of the very complicated defense scheme Vogel drawn to cover the weaknesses?

They should trade russ 4 turner and hield if they want to win d championship
I'd rather have Bojan on a long term contract than Hield.
Also if he wants an extension and the pistons still suck , i doubt they extend him considering he doesn't fit their timeline.
I'd trade russ + frp for Bojan,Burks, Kemba, noel
Then trade Kemba,Noel, Lonnie + frp for turner
It is also no possible to "protect" both picks because they do not have another 1st round pick to replace them if both fall in the protected territory.
After everybody hated the Sacramento Kings trade ahead of the Russell Westbrook trade, now they keep trying to get Buddy Hield on the Lakers.
Should have done the Sacramento Kings trade because this 2-Guard depth chart with Austin Reaves & Lonnie Walker can’t make catch & shoot 3-pointers.
Bogdanovich has declined on defense, so it’s no surprise that the Detroit Pistons didn’t have to sacrifice a 1st Round Draft Pick to get Bogdanovich.
Kendrick Nunn already being placed on the 1st Unit finally solves the problem with catch & shoot 3-pointers. Coach Ham making sure Russell Westbrook has a 2-Guard that he can trust for 3-pointers.

Nunn is a perfect fit for Bron, AD, and Russ. He can fill that point guard role that can space the floor and defend without needing the ball in his hands at all times to be effective
With Hield and Turner they become definitely a champion contender!
They become extreme shooting, defense, size, shot blocking. They will be the best team on paper with them 2, plus Lebron, AD and the rest. Lebron will be 38 of age this season(in December). We know what protected and unprotected picks are, but Lakers should decide. If they want one more championship with LeBron, they have to trade those picks at any price and get a solid winning package. Otherwise they should just start to plan longterm, and forget about championship with LeBron for the next 2 years. The maths is simple, either you make the trade and go for 1 or 2 more titles, or you give up that aspiration and you plan for long term and you keep those first round picks for 2027 and 2029. It's just a fact, that with this existing Laker Team, they wont be able to win a championship. Maximum they can make the play in tournament and get disqualified in the first playoff round. They can never beat a healthy Clippers, Warriors, Nets, Celtics or Bucks, even not Nuggets according to my opinion! And it's also a fact that Lebron is getting older and not younger, in 2 years he will be 40 years of age!
So depends on what you want and what your main goal is. You want a title? Than go for the trade! You don't want a title, than keep the picks! More talking about this, doesn't make sense!
