The Philadelphia 76ers defeat the Brooklyn Nets, 127-108. Tyrese Maxey had a game-high 20 PTS along with 3 AST while Julian Champagnie added 15 PTS, 7 REB and 3 AST for the 76ers in the victory. Kevin Durant tallied 13 PTS, 4 REB and 4 AST for the Nets in a losing effort. The 76ers improve to 1-0 in the NBA Preseason, while the Nets fall to 0-1.

Simmons is in a perfect situation, he doesn't want to be option 1 or 2. In Brooklyn he doesn't need to score. You got KD and Kyrie who always want the ball and I expect them to want the ball bc both those guys can go for 40 any night. Simmons going to revert to a Draymond Green type role watch. Average a triple single every game lol

For the Nets it's championship or bust. You got a big 3 and you picked up some good pieces like Morris, Warren and O'Neale. You got depth and everyone should be avaliable to play no excuses.
