Honestly, not too shabby for his first game. This is a Draymond Statline and I assume as the season goes on and he gets more comfortable, he will be putting up better numbers.

From a neutral, it’s just fun seeing him play again

Considering he hasn’t played for a year and just came off back surgery, he looked good. I’m sure he’ll look more comfortable as the season goes on.

Loved what I saw. He was clearly rusty but he already started to look much better in the second quarter opposed to he first quarter

He looked fine. Pretty much the same player he’s always been
All his three made FGs were dunks that were spoon fed to him, he played good defense and he missed all his free throws
Their half court play with him was terrible I’m ngl. Wish he’d actually drive more rather than do that little fake drive, pick up his dribble and look to pass because that is not creating any advantages. Hopefully he’s just rusty and will begin to either drive by his man or dribble into the post up, otherwise I have no idea why he’s handling the ball over Kyrie or KD

Looked good in his moments it’s gonna time which is fine. The important thing is from an athletic stand point looked really good. Chemistry and lineup quality will come will playing.

It was very Ben Simmons. If that’s your thing, he looked good.
I still hope he improves because at the end of the day he’s an athletic freak and it’d be more fun for the league if his potential was unlocked. But it’s nice that the pressure of him doing that on my team isn’t there anymore.
He missed all his non dunk attempts but at least he took them. Shouldn’t be too long until he starts making those 50% of the time. Nets fans should be excited about this.
He looked like Ben Simmons. He will have games where he puts up triple doubles. He will have games where’s he’s a liability on offense, he will have games when he’s clutch on defense, he will have games where he doesn’t matter. Philly fans got frustrated for those reasons and he reacted negatively to their frustration, we will see how the nets media does with him

Doc put our worst defensive player Niang on him. That’s embarrassing. Basketball is a 9-5 for Ben.
Ben looked pretty good out there tonight. Definitely a little rusty but I’m very confident that with some more reps and time to gel with the new squad that he’ll continue to improve.
He played well at the 5 tonight. Excited to see how he fares against the elite bigs like Embiid, Trae Young, Giannis, etc.
Simmons was the exact same player he has been his entire career, for good or bad. I didn’t really expect him to have changed that much, we’ll see with a larger sample size I suppose. The Half-court offense did look much better when he was at Center and Royce was out on the court as opposed to Claxton.
Ben hit his offensive peak as a rookie. Blows my mind.
