Even if Harden was there his lack of defense would weaken PHI starting out. Royce is the best candidate to rotate behind Joe Harris at the 2. Mills is the best rotation piece for Kyrie. First quarter showed BKN losing to PHI’s chemistry. That was expected bc it’s a new group in BKN. Nic & Sharpe are great at center but just need to improve their FT%.
Negative: BKN don’t have a true back up for KD at the SF. TJ may need a lot of time to come back. Kessler may need more reps at the 3. Yet, his passing is weak. Morris & Yuta are a toss up at the 4 Bc of lack of D. They need a 3rd string Big. Lastly, Duke & Chiozzo can pack it up. Next game Williams & Sumner would have to show me who can be that 3rd String PG off the bench.

The modern NBA sucks, dudes just walking up to the 3 and shooting or guys cutting for uncontested dunks. No wonder Australian NBL squads who used to get beaten by 30 to 40 points in a game in 90s by US college teams can walk in into a stadium and beat an NBA squad by 10 points in 2022. Sad.

whats crazy is…. i think Philly actually plays better with Harden and Joel on the bench lol They play much faster especially with Maxey running with the second unit.. Brooklyns bench need more work and chemistry…Ben didn't look bad at all.. a little timid but shit…. this is a big step for a player who was scared to even step on the floor let alone play a game against his former team… He will get better.
