Hello everybody, how was your guy's summer? Lakers basketball is finally back. Not the way we should have started the season but I did like what I saw in the first quarter, a lot more energy than last season. I really can't blame the young guys for getting bodied like that by the Kings, I kind of saw it coming. See you guys Wednesday vs Suns.

my summary:
1. Our guards have to put a bit more pressure on ball handlers. Too difficult for Jones & AD to face 2 players EACH TIME with an easy pick and roll, just because the guards were not able to get away from screens.
2. We need Dennis Schroder back. We need a ball handler for our 2nd group. Pat can do a bit, but that's not the right way to use him.
3. We lack easy shots from 3-pt line. Give Swider more minutes, coz he's the best shooter on our team. His size can rotate PF and SF, that's better than u put lots of guards on the floor.
4. Max and JTA really need to work on their offense. You have gd D, but for that offense, the spacing on the court is too horrible…….

Pat Bev's offense is annoyingly under-rated. Pundits love to ignore that. The good news is that PB will be on full display this year.

Max Christie looked better than I imagined, although he did pass on a couple of open 3pt shots. Swider playing along side Bron or AD could really be beneficial. He shot looks pure, D a little suspect tho.
Between Jones, Bryant, Gabriel, & AD the front court looks good enough to defend. I'm not saying they can stop Giannis, but we have alot of fouls to commit.
