I will admit that I wanted him to be traded, but I'm glad they never caved in and gave up more than they should have to move him. I'm curious to see how Russ will do in this new system. He looked more comfortable already. Great video!

should have signed otto porter jr instead of lonnie walker. then the lakers should have approached indiana earlier and traded for myles turner and malcom brogdon with those 2 picks and westbrook. then they should have traded talen horton tucker and a 2nd round pick for a wing like kenrich williams. lakers rotation would have been

If for the whole season Russ can play like yesterday, I think we shouldn't even trade him with the 2 Pacer players, even without giving any draft picks. Hield holds a bad contract and make backcourt even more crowded. Jones and Bryant are just fine at centre spot.
Yesterday it's apparent that we need a playmaker for the second team. Russ can fill that gap. If he's gone, you may see a lot of time the team play like the second half in the last game or you will see LeBron play long minutes.
Signing Kyrie Irving in off season is problematic, but we need to show the Nets this can happen, so that we have an opportunity to trade him this season. I still think there is a chance to trade Kyrie this mid season, and that will be the best outcome.
Hield and Turner are right in their primes now. Although Turner is very competent, they're both imo 3rd tier players. If we can't get players that move the needle, why make commitments and trade? even without giving up a n y draft picks?
Can’t watch the team until Westbrook is gone. Too disrespectful to the fans and to LBJ/AD. It’s disgusting that he’s still on this roster. Hopefully the Pacers ease up on demands.

Pursue "Psyco-K". Trade "Le Brick" & PRAY K doesn't Implode the Locker Room at least while LBJ is here, but once LBJ retires all bets are off. Psyco-K is good for 2 Laker rings at bare minimum paired with "THE BROW".

You're not trading Westbrook for Myles Turner & Buddy Hield or anyone without giving up both of those 2 first that's 5 and 7 Years out and nothing else now especially when they have to buyout Westbrook 47 Million Dollars Contract.
So because Bum Pelinka got took by Danny Ainge for a player the Pacers wanted in THT to give them now. The Pacers are now not going to bend at all in wanting those 2 first unprotected to take Westbrook a player they don't want who going to cost them 47 Million Dollars just this season in exchange for Myles Turner & BuddyHield (Duh).
I'm not doing the trade unless it's only one first and even then i have my doubts (still no wings)

We really needed to trade 1 of those picks along with Russ & THT to Utah for Pat Beverly, Bogdanovic & Gay. Probably wouldn't have cost us more than that. & we could have kept Stanley Johnson. I just don't like the balance of our current roster. Not enough scoring, defense or size.
