[Dumas] “Dejan Milojevic & Kevon Looney coaching up James Wiseman while going through a rebounding drill. Looks like Dejan & Kevon are stressing that Wiseman initiates contact first as the offensive player crashes the board. But Loon wouldn’t get too specific w his pointers for Wise.”

If he becomes even average for his size, so many people here are gonna be eating their words.
man we are lucky to have looney, i wouldn’t imagine most players would be so open to helping out their potential replacements lol
Man, does he do anything at an NBA level?
I’m conflicted. I love both of these guys and am rooting for them both. If Loon would start hitting threes and mid jumpers he could probably take a lot of the Draymond minutes once he bails. He’s a great passer and play initiator too. And Wise would provide the athleticism.
Wiseman will average 15 rebounds a game if he can rebound like Loon
Looney is so good, going to be a tough task for Wiseman to get ahead of him to be honest.
Wiseman and Looney complement one another very well. Wiseman seems reluctant to mix it up in the paint like Looney does. He’s more of a finesse guy. I’d like to see a little bit of Looney’s physicality rub off on Wise, where he initiates contact.
Really hope Loon is a Warrior for life. Get a couple more rings and retire that jersey right next to Andre.
Basically he needs to actually use his physicality. Like it’s obvious to see that he shies away from contact on both his finishing and rebounding. He should never fade away in the paint, it’s pointless, and start using his body to get proper positioning to rebound instead of just using his height and arms. It’s too easy to push him out of position right now. That’s something he must learn to reach his potential.
We are lucky Looney is such a great guy for the team because they have basically tried to replace him multiple times and once he had finally established himself, gave away his starting spot for no reason.
keep that coach forever
James should take up judo and/or aikido
