I have a feeling Duncan’s gonna disappoint this year again 🙁

  2. professorgreenie

Bam shooting 100% from 3pt range so far let’s fucking go

  3. If Bam is anything like what we saw tonight, league fucked.

Herro looks better defensively, and I’m hoping to see it through 82 games

Bam looks to be taking more shots and I don’t remember him doing any dribble handoffs so I’m liking what I’m seeing so far. He also needs to attack his defender quicker

Yurtsevens jumper does look quicker, but his defence isn’t it

EDIT: Idk how I forgot about Caleb Martin. He also looked really good, if he can try and replicate what PJ did for us last season it would be huge

Shaky first half but there is a lot to like, Bam and Herro looked great.

Need more Jovic minutes next game for sure

  7. Repulsive-Slice2234

    Replace Duncan minutes with Jovic!

  8. jbenson255

Great games from herro and bam impressed with the aggression but need to see it with jimmy also on the court

Excited for Bam and Tyler’s growth. Hope Duncan gets his groove back. Yurt’s defense is fucking awful.

    Some interesting things:

+ Jovic really looks like Gallinari 2.0, his defense was good tonight vs Timberwolves backups but in actual games his D is probably average to below average but it’s at least not bad.

+ Caleb had a bit of an outlier shooting season for us last season. Today he was our best 3 point shooter going 2-4, that’s a good sign that last season’s shooting wasn’t a fluke. 5-8 shooting overall.

+ Yurtseven is the backup C, Dedmon’s $5m salary is almost definitely for throwing in a trade (and a reward for him buying in) near the trade deadline.

+ Disappointing shooting night from both Strus and Duncan.

Bam, Herro, and Caleb looked great.

Shots didn’t fall but I won’t worry about it for now. Could just be rust.

Yurt didn’t inspire confidence on defense but he can be the second starting center and the “break glass in case of emergency” starting center with Bam at the 4 if the situation calls for it.

Anyway, fun to have Miami Heat basketball back.

Highwood Heysmith showed that he has some game and deserves consideration for rotational minutes at the 4!
Jovic has potential to be our future 4 in a year or two.

  13. kiwinado

Caleb also looks like he’s taken a leap forward in his play.

Can someone tell me how Orlando Robinson looked?

  15. xlalalalalalalala

I honestly think that the team looked good this game. I just noticed that we have a fuck ton of SGs lol

-Duncan getting to the rim more is encouraging, defense is still pretty awful tho.
-Tyler and Bam looked amazing, excited to see how they pair with Jimmy in the starting lineup.
-Caleb Martin and Highsmith looked good.
-Yurtseven is still very raw but showed flashes.

Hope Jovic gets more minutes next game, in the limited time he had he looked good.

Herro straight up played *elite* off-ball defense today. Playing the passing lanes and everything, hope he can keep this up throughout the season + playoffs. He was also slashing really well, but had a tough time against someone long and athletic like Jaden McDaniels.

Shooter Bam, he was straight up aggressive today, loved to see it.

Dedmon is straight up cooked, I unironically believe that we should give Hassan another try rather than have Dedmon be out on the floor, he’s a legit net negative.

I loved Martin today, he was hooping, straight up. Hope he can be a good replacement for PJ.

Overall, good game, but there are still things to improve. Can’t wait to see what we look like with Jimmy and Dipo.

  18. Didn’t watch the game. Did Bam shoot any 3s?

  19. rapelbaum

Bam and Herro are the future of Heat franchise!

  20. iliveonramen

Bam this season, ceiling MVP, floor, 1st team all nba.

  21. mrwhite2323

Yurt and Bam play well together. Good passing from both and great at attacking the boards.

Yurt and Bam shooting 3s has me hopeful

  22. PB-and-Jamz

Duncan really likes living in Miami too much and knows if he starts hitting 3s again the Heat might actually be able to trade him.

  23. zeta-ghost

Any feedback on Lowrey? Was most curious to see how he looked compared to last year…..

  24. Very excited for Bam, Tyler, Jovic. But watching Duncan, Dedmon, and Yurt (on d) caused me physical pain
