  1. I misspoke starting off this video by saying it was John Hollinger who conducted this survey. It was actually John Schuhmann, my bad on that!

  2. ESPN has placed other teams above the Raptors in a power ranking and continue to downplay our roster, but you’d be a goddamn FOOL to believe them.

  3. There's no way Mobley gonna breakout with their even more stacked team and Allen coming back … Some GMs don't deserve their jobs

  4. This is all the time the rating for the Raps so I’m not surprised anymore, year after year we always prove them wrong we’re always under the radar so we surprise them all the time plus they need to promote US team before Canadas only team for business purposes

  5. I’m torn between demanding respect and being happy we have none as far as media is concerned. Maybe we should start a hashtag #rapspect or something?

  6. Bro I’m over it, we get no love from U.S. media. Just the way it is/has been. We know what we got and developing. Enough said.

  7. I live in alberta but bro, with how stacked the east is the raps won’t be making top 3 against phily, milwaukee, and the celtics, even miami could also not winning the rookie of the year award dosent mean you don’t deserve the idea of them becoming a star

  8. You are failing to understand almost everything that has to do with such like exercises. A) this is all a PR exercise. B) PR bows to the biggest dollar forever and always. C) ESPN and TNT only get half the eyeballs with our games. And that my friend is the whole ball game.

Every zGM every ESPN + pundit, the Head Office, every radio show, all of them are, of course, guided by what the dollars want. Aka Duh.

So every year without fail starts and ends the same way. 1) the Raptors are not 'truly' relevant so we don't have to talk about them. 2) as the Raptors out perform 'expectations' the US media discusses why the big market teams are underperforming
Why they were right about the two teams they were touting are performing up to expectations makes them right about everything and of course leaving a tiny little time for a few small market stars who are too awesome to ignore. And nothing literally zero about the Raptors. C) the Raptors outperform and so with 2 weeks left we get a couple of episodes e thing our virtues but emphasi, ing we aren't 'real' contenders. And no matter how that turns out, rinse, wash repeat.

  9. This year will really be a passed over televised number of Raptor games. Just watched a horrible game between NYC and Detroit.

  10. Lets be honest. 99.99% of Americans don't care about the Raptors or watch them. As much as it hurts, America runs the NBA. 29 American teams. 1 Canadian team. Even if they did care about them. They're only on National TV like once a year, and it's when they play the Lakers in LA.

  11. Dude = in the 2018/2019 szn when we picked up Kawhi – they were saying the same thing. They had Boston, Philly and Mikwaukee over us and then we won the chip. These "predictions" at the beginning of the szn are them being lazy and just picking teams with superstars on it.

Honestly, I'd rather be the underdogs every year and out perform. This is a big year for Pascal – he can't mess up.

  12. I thought in terms of versatility they have actual numbers for it and Scotty Barnes ranked second???
