The shooting and shot blocking are there. The ball handling is good, but he doesn’t seem that quick and he makes KD looked jacked. Plenty of time for him to put on weight though.

There isn’t a player in the NBA that can contest that jumper. Same with KD. His ceiling is determined by what he can do athletically and on defense against the NBAs best. The shooting will 100% translate. He will get bodied in the post by Big 5s, but that player is fading into oblivion anyway.
What’s sucks if if he ends up on the Spurs, he will have to do everything. Having a good guard will unlock his offense even more.

Looking at Wembenyama, but also Chet, i couldn’t stop thinking about Bol Bol which is basically the same guy as this 2, but arrived too soon and the league wasn’t ready for a 7’2-7’3 with shooting and SF vibes… together with the injury to his foot during his 1st year in college, which crushed his stakes during draftnight.

I’m glad that we got to see him play in the US and see how he’s like because my God what a show. It says a lot when Scoot Henderson played VERY well and showed his class but all the headlines are all about Wemby.
I also kinda wish we didn’t see him play and he just kept on doing what he did in France and we saw highlights and in his first NBA game where the general audience sees him for the first time, he does something like this. It would be equivalent to a WWE star coming back at the royal rumble type pop.
