I swear if we inevitably have a bad start and some dude starts talking about how Kispert is gonna save the team…
Not that CK is a make-or-break part of the team but 6 weeks seems like a lot. Wonder if Ted is finally gonna give up the ghost on tanking and this is the beginning. A stretch, I know, but they’ve been super cautious with Deni as well. If they sit Deni for these next 2 preseason games after already he missed the first two….
This pretty much paves the way for Rui to start at the 3. Hope Krispy Kispy has a quick recovery!
Damn that’s a long time… just when we were looking healthy (besides Deni’s groin injury) but it shouldn’t hit us too hard considering our depth. If Johnny Davis was ready, we could slot him in for Kispert but I don’t think that’ll be the case, Gill could see some extra minutes though

>This is unfortunate news for the Wizards, who made the fewest 3s of any team last year and are banking on Kispert’s continued improvement to help fix that problem.
Wtf kind of sprained ankle did he suffer
Usually they aren’t 4-6 week injuries
dammit
This sucks so much. a positive could(???) be that this helps clear up some of the rotational logjam?
Johnny Davis is getting the opportunity of a lifetime here. There’s no way he saw playing time if Kispert was coming off the bench. I don’t think he’s ready to backup Beal, but dammit I would love for him to prove me wrong.
