1st preseason game is more important for rookie evaluation than we give it credit for. Some guys just look instantly bad/below-average once put against actual NBA rosters; that's usually a bad sign for that player, especially if the limitations are athletic in nature. Dyson is a 6'8" PG who can get to the rim and already has Herb-like traits on defense. His two biggest concerns are jumpshooting and finishing touch at the rim, both improvable techniques with practice. Hope he gets significant minutes at some point this year.
Needs more games to build confidence for this kid indeed, and personally I think put some foot work practice would help on catch up NBA game pace
Good things happened when Dyson touched the ball. He creates good basketball
Goat
You know?
Dyson “You Know” Daniels…now everyone “knows”…LOL 😂😂😂
He looked good in his first game. Keep it up!
Dyson really is similar to Giddey, but where Giddey has better passing, Daniels has better defence
That young man can play the game… 15 points off the bench, late in the game, points, blocks, steals. Pelicans have a deep talented team. They're going to be so good this year
We kneaux.
i thought Dyson could have involved some of his players on some of the plays toward the end of the game.
