Most predictable thing ever. Highly likely it has something to do with the contract situations.
Homers don’t like hearing it, but as I’ve said many times, the time where draymonds stupid shit outweighs his performance on the court in the minds of the front office is approaching. Playing like he did half the playoffs, and most of the serious games, isn’t going to cut it. This isn’t me judging btw. I don’t really care but it’s the reality of how teams operate. This isn’t 3-4 years ago where he could do and say whatever the fuck he wanted and the FO would keep him no matter what.
You can just see this lingering and affecting the team if they don’t figure out his contract soon. Steph will always vouch for him but is it enough for the FO to give him what he wants right now? We’ll see and hope this doesn’t drag the team down.

On his most recent podcast regarding the 3 point contest, Dray said this: “Like Klay, I absolutely loved watching them humble JP. That was fun. Then JP tried to take the passive aggressive route like ‘oh they’re only the best shooters in the world’ but you weren’t talking like that before, JP, so that was absolutely good to see.” Hearing him say this and the tone he said it in was a bit odd.
