Traded from San Antonio to the Atlanta Hawks this off-season, great start for him so far. Dejounte played great defense which was needed for a team which had one of the worst defense’s in the league despite their offense. Dejounte worked well with Trae who scored 22 points and had 3 assists. Could the addition of Murray help elevate this Hawks team to the next level? What are your thoughts?

He was cooking today
I think it’s gonna work well enough. Worth the picks imo, said that as soon as the trade happened.
I have no idea why so many people thought this move was dumb for the hawks.
That trade was a win/win for everybody, we avoided another mediocre season where DJ woulda dragged our offense and ruined any chance at great lottery odds, Hawks got more help for Trae and DJ’s now on a team that has legit playoff hopes instead of just another play in loss.
Oooowiieeeee
He really spammed middies for 30 minutes and it was beautiful
Trae Dejounte Hunter Collins Capela is a very good starting 5. If this team stays healthy, people improve steadily, and Nate McMillan does a good job, they could be a top 4 seed imo.
East is stacked right now. There’s gonna be a damn good team or two stuck in the play-in.
The fuck is nate doing with those minutes in pre-season?! All the starters played way too much, and against the bucks third stringers at times.. don’t you have any prospects to give time to?
Hawks about to go crazy in the play in
He played 30 minutes in a preseason game
That second tier in the East is really interesting and i think the Hawks have as good a shot as anybody to be in that 5-6 range after (MIL, BOS, BKL, PHI).
baby 18 rockets
Ok that’s a Statline, might be a sleeper
Unbelievable how much talent there is in the league this year. Gonna be an all-time season
We have this uncanny ability to reduce individual player output in favor of team success. I believe this is what really bothered Kawhi more than anything about small-market, etc. Murray is a talented kid, I hope he can make some noise and accomplish more than he would’ve done in SA.
