Here are 3 things I think will happen in the 2023 NBA season. What are your predictions?

  1. 1. I disagree with the first take, although it’s not a wrong assumption and one very valid and possible. I got Steph and the MVP this year.
    2. We’ll be repeating this year. Warriors 2023 champs 🏆
    3. Denver has always been a high winning team. They’ll likely be the 1st or 2nd seed. I expect nothing less than 60 wins cause they’re an offensive juggernaut. Not the best defensively but they scorch anyone.

I have a bias for the Warriors, but I do trust my team against any team in a 7 game series. When Steph, Klay, and Draymond start every game, they’re undefeated. Meaning, none of them are in and out of the starting line up. They’ve lost when one of them is out. 2016, Draymond Game 5 suspension. 2019, Game 3 Klay is out and goes down in Game 6 which, had the warriors won, probably lose in game 7 against Toronto. Until someone can prove to beat us at full strength, we can beat anyone

  2. speaking of gpII and denver in the same video, I wish they picked up gpII, would be perfect with jokic and defensively

  3. I have one prediction: Kyrie Irving will be in the top 3 of MVP votes this year. It’s a contract year and I think it’s very important to him because it might be his last. I don’t see Kyrie still in the NBA pass 35. Hope im off, but everything is pointing towards that.

  4. Was expecting some Stephen A. hot takes, those were a bit mild predictions my guy.

  5. Until Wiseman shows he can even be half decent I’m not going to count on him to be a significant piece

  6. i feel like giannis is now pacing himself in the season he knows that the playoffs is when the season starts imo i think the mvp will be luka or ja

  7. I picked the Warriors to win it all b4 last season started. So some of us got it right. Idk how you can predict Denver wins 60 games but someone other than Jokic wins MVP. That makes no sense. My pick is the Clips to win it all. Giannis or Luka wins MVP. And idc at all who wins 60 games because it's not as meaningful as it used to be in terms of who wins the chip. Suns won 64 last year and didn't make the finals. Sixers imo have proven they cannot win in crunch time in the playoffs. Embiid misses too many games to be MVP and Harden has proven he cannot win despite having a very good team around him multiple times.

  8. Possibly a hot take but I think we will get the lakers clippers rivalry we expected a couple years ago. Bev is a former clipper and love him or hate him we all know how loud he gets. The lakers unfortunately won’t be legitimate contenders but knowing the clippers track record I think they’re bound to drop the chili when it comes time to compete.

  9. The Warriors will start slower than last year but their celling is significantly higher because young talent in Poole, Kuminga, Moody, & Wiseman will only get better

  10. I feel like if Jokic is as dominant as you say he will be, the league will be basically forced to give him a third straight MVP. That is, assuming nobody else even comes close.

  11. Celtics fan here but the Warriors are certainly making the WCF at least. They just have such a unique split screen offense that nobody can prepare for. Clippers if healthy will be the best matchup in the West. In the East, Bucks will make the finals and likely win it
