Is Patrick Williams STUCK In His Own Head??

Patrick Williams Might Have a Mental Hurdle That He Has To Face For The Upcoming Season

  1. I believe that 30 games into the season we will learn alot about the Bulls. I envision a Lamar Odom style game offensively for Patt Will.

  2. Nope.. He is just a 3/sf/wing playing out of position for this team and with 2 high usage wings in the same lineup with him %85 of the time. He will never start reaching his potential starting with that group and team will lose more games then they should due to the lack of size and most importantly REBOUNDING at that 4 spot..

  3. Its been one preseason game guys. The dude had a great playoff series and ended the regular off on a strong note. The majority of the team looked rusty. He was going against on of the best defensive teams when it comes to protecting the paint. Again..one preseason game lol I agree with you. Its a mental game for him.

  4. I believe Pat is aloof cause he can hide in the shadow of Zach&Demar. Billy is honestly ruining Pats Career by allowing him to continue to start while playing like dog shit.

He needs to get hungry and play like it or get to stepping.

  5. He took more shots than Zach in game 1 and people say he wasn't playing aggressive…played 17 mins, grabbed 5 boards, took 7 shots. Put that at a per 36 rate and he's a 11 board 16 shot player. These "mental barrier" motifs are dumb. Dudes about to dominate. Just relaaaaaax.

  6. We're putting high standards on Patrick Williams. We act like his physic is elite when the truth is there are 6'7" 215 lbs players throughout the NBA. What Pat has to do is relax and let the game come to him. It's hard for him to be a force offensively when Vuc, DeRozan, and LaVine demand the ball. We also want Ayo to improve as a scorer.
I think P. Will should be coming off the bench. Let him play with the reserves. This is not a demotion but a better fit.

  7. Billy Donovan needs to develop better plays for Patrick Williams to score more. Instead of calling Patrick out so much Billy needs do a better job coaching.

  8. Patrick Williams can be aggressive. I just don't want to head sh** about "Patrick Williams is a ball hog now" when it happens more consistently that's all I know.

  9. I can’t believe we’re still speaking of the #4 pick in the 2020 draft as a project player still waiting to see him develop and play aggressive. If this is the case, he was drafted too high. I can think of 5 players chosen below him that are well on their way…Toppin, Halenburton, Maxsey, Bey, Bane.
I do believe PWill is a quality player, but was not a good pick at #4. And that’s on the Front Office.
Perhaps he would play better coming off the bench…that’s what he did at FSU.

  10. Its not fair to say Dalen Terry and Javonte are only instinct and energy.. Dalen could end up being better than Pat Williams.. I think we should stop expecting Pat to be this offensive dude.. put his ass in the corner and let him be a catch and shoot guy at this point off the bench though

  11. At can definitely be aggressive we’ve seen it, but ai don’t want him looking to be aggressive just cuz, he needs to lets the game come to him and be aggressive in the scope of how the game is going

  12. Everybody keep saying Pat has all the potential to be a great player. Ion wanna go that far. I think he lacks the will to be the player everybody dubbing him to be. I look at guys like Scotty Barnes or other players on his old squad at Florida state or even in the same draft as him are just better even Obi Toppin I think Pat is what Pat is until he shows otherwise. 🤷🏾‍♂️

  13. He is for sure. You can see he lacks confidence in his size to be more aggressive. Give him till the end of the is season before y’all write him off.

  14. If PWill doesn’t show real progress early in the season expect him to be moved at the deadline if the bulls are able to get draft picks for him.
