The problem for draymond is any team that gives him a max won’t have money to put a contender crew around him. So his choices are
1. Look for the biggest check now with a non contender.
2. Look for a long term deal at $5m pear year less than what he wants, but be relevant, keep winning, stay with your family that you know regardless of what little choppiness arises here and there. Doesn’t matter. You’ve been through everything together.
