Anybody have the clip of the Rudy crossover?

  2. I_eat_meat_at_night

this team needed a player like rudy SO fucking bad

  3. ghost91372

Jaylen nowell has crazy offensive consistency

  4. Underdog_To_Wolf

    Rudy good.

So many great bench pieces showing up in preseason. Once our starting lineup gels we are going to be incredible. Season can’t start soon enough.

    LFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Wolvesin7

The depth on this team is ridiculous for how many players we gave up for Rudy. Forbes and Knight have surprised me most so far.

  6. KickerofTale

It’s crazy to see the number of players each team rolled out tonight.

  7. Minute-Decent

I can’t believe Rudy had 12 (!) rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in just 17 min. Damn

    Also Nowell being efficient af.

And Ant with 6 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal and a block and 0 (!) turnovers.

    We got a squad

  8. Tillie_to_the_wolves

Elleby is certainly one of the nba players of all time.

the good news? he’s our 20th man and not someone getting minutes for the main team this year.

  9. TossingTurnips

Low key really like how Moore plays and some of the flashes he’s shown.

Rudy’s rebounding and just general bigness around the rim was a game changer. He also had a nifty pass to Anderson for a layup.

It was D’Lo’s first game, so he gets a bit of a pass, but he was everything we all hated about him last year. Played so slow, picked his own shitty midranger over the pass way too often, and just generally looked sloppy and low energy. He better get his shit together or he’s going to lose a lot of money.

Ant just looked unfocused tonight. The passing wasn’t there at all (after being very much there last game) and his shot selection was gross (I think at least 4 of his 12 shots were long 2s). He’s also looked unfocused most of the season defensively, although that might just be a preseason thing.

Naz really struggled closing out to the perimeter (opening up a ton of blow-bys). Obviously, he’s not KAT, but I’m pretty worried we might see something similar with KAT when facing a team that can really stretch you out and attack.

I gave Nowell a lot of shit for his defense against Miami, and it was still pretty bad here, but Jesus he was cooking tonight offensively. Undeniable scoring ability.

Shaky start, but 2nd unit killed it. Starters rotated back in to take the lead and the deep bench will boat race anyone. This team has great depth that is going to win games from that alone in the regular season and those guys have key attributes to be single game playoff heros. Drop coverage is still a work in progress, but the highwall when Rudy is on the bench is going to remain effective.

Rudy is real nice 12 boards in 1 half, had a couple nice dimes. His gravity at the rim alone gave Dlo 6 easy points when the big just got out of the way leading to easy lefty layups. A wins a wins and the team covered. Still a lot to work on but the talent is undeniable.

My prediction (subject to change through the preseason).

Elleby, Rivers, Lawson, Minott, Garza don’t make the NBA roster. Some of them will end up in Iowa obviously, which is a good thing.

  13. KATgonnaGetThatYarn

Forbes is clearly trying to make a significant spot in the rotation. I think he’ll get it, but forcing it a little too much.

Gobert is awesome. We are so lucky.

McDaniels is still to foul prone.

I think Rivers is a good NBA player and not going to overrate his pre-season performance thusfar, but more to the point we have a lot of good options as combo guard.

  14. KATgonnaGetThatYarn

Bryn has been averaging way more non-threes than I expected. Less than half his FGs have been 3s. Not that I hate it, just not very Beasley of him.
