Draymond Green: “When I go on the basketball court, I’m not going out there to punch nobody in the mouth. I’m not going out there trying to pick a fight with anybody. I am going out on the basketball court to simply win a basketball game.”

  3. ForoaKlanD

    >“Violence is never the answer, but sometimes it is”

  5. ObviousWorking9365

wasn’t this just practice? why would this statement apply?

  6. birdgochirpchirp

To be fair, he was off the court (just barely out of bounds).

  7. rahul_____raja

Thankfully Poole was slightly off the court

  8. treyfiddy

he punched Poole who was behind the baseline so he was technically not on the playing court. checkmate atheists.

Redittors need to be put into a mental asylum.

This amount of self-righteousness is not normal.

Fools are going to say whatever words for them to sound like geniuses

I love it when people bring out the receipts lol 😂

  12. Esnake08

Like when he swung at steven adams and Lebrons ballsacks?

  13. AutographedSnorkel

Well, since this wasn’t an actual game, that obviously doesn’t mean anything. We talking about practice!

  14. DynamixRo

“Unless I see Jordan Poole out there, that mfer has it coming.”

  15. vHezoTheGoat

Man, reports usually have a habit of making something out to be more than it really is

They absolutely undermined the fuck out of this situation

I was expecting a mutual argument followed by a soft hit, not Draymond literally sleeping the living piss out of Poole

Is him getting cut from the team a possibility? Because it was pretty terrible

  16. Quality_Cucumber

Bro hit Poole with a whole ass Ganondorf punch

  17. CupOfHotTeaa

Fuck Draymond never liked his stupid ass podcast and energy

  18. rSlashNbaAccount

In order to win said game, I will punch and kick and bite.

  19. If this stuff happens behind closed doors maybe we now know the real reason AI never wanted to practice.

  20. yoshistuffedeggrolls

Damn “winning a basketball game” really has drastically changed from what I remember last week playing in the park…

  21. obelisk_equity

The very last second where he even knows what he’s saying is bullshit… LOL

  22. Beavshak

He clearly took the punch outside the boundaries of the court.

“He plays on his little hoops and like stomp around. I was like, ‘I like the intensity, but slow down!’ I realized how impressionable the kids are at the age that they’re at. I just really wanted to be a good example to them and show them the right thing. My son was playing, he was shooting and flopping, and I said, ‘You gotta stop watching the NBA.’ Shooting and falling on the floor like ‘Oh, Dada! Help me up!’ I was like ‘No, what you flopping for? It’s just, like, [my kids] are really impressionable at this age, and I want to make sure I’m setting a good example for them as well,”

    -Draymond Green

You can’t win a practice and you did punch someone. Grow the fuck up Dray.

  25. absynthe7

“Unless it’s just practice, in which case I’m gonna light some fuckers up” -Draymond probably

  26. TheBrazilianKD

Between this, the nut punching and kicking, the dick pics, the teammate superman punching, the new media bit.. will Draymond ever realize that he is a parody of the person he thinks he is?… It’s a comedy at this point

  27. I think Draymond has fears of no longer being important to the team. He was never a big scorer, so he may have a little bit of an inferiority complex there, and when others come along that weren’t a part of the original big 3, he’s afraid they’re going to be seen as more important than him. We all saw him sulk for the years KD was there, and he would spend most games screaming at James Wiseman when they were on the court together.

I’m no psychomacologist, and I’m not trying to discount his impact on the game, but that’s just been the vibe I’ve always gotten from him as a person.

  28. seasonofthewitch12

Good news is the Warriors dont need an excuse now to pick Poole over triple single .

We saw what Draymond is when Curry is injured. Basically a net negative.

  29. MinimumWage1

But we’re talking bout practice, not a game

  30. Gustav-14

But when I’m not inside the court it’s open season baby

    Draymond. Probably.
