let’s pray that conspiracy is rigged cause the spurs haven’t been in the spotlight since timmy left. it’s ridiculous how disrespected we are as a franchise we deserve victor wenbanyama it’s not close all these teams tank on purpose we may not have the talent but we sure do try our hardest each and every night.

Next up it's time to trade away J Rich and Doug Mcbuckets, they seemed to be the only people stopping the bleeding at times and getting us back in the game last night. We can acquire very good assets for them while freeing up even more minutes for the young guys to improve while also getting us more Ls. It's a win win win. We can get veteran leadership every single offseason there is a dime a dozen, Wembanyama, and Scoot Henderson are not. TANK TANK TANK.
I think his emphasis on "Lottery" in his mind was to remind people that it is still up to CHANCE and no one is guaranteed Victor just for tanking.
Addressing the tanking issue. Try something like this:
A week before the lottery, put 30 balls in the bowl. spin it around, draw one out. If it’s say, 23, then the top 23 teams have a weighted chance at the #1 pick, or the #1-10 picks.
Or something like that.
Point is, if a team doesn’t know what their odds of getting #1 will be during the actual season, it would help eliminate tanking. Teams won’t lose on purpose if they might not be rewarded for it.
A bold statement to make especially to the public! Silver seems to be trying to keep the integrity of the NBA but it will be hard for teams to listen!
If he doesn't want teams to tank then do something to help small market teams improve because not every town is big and luxurious like LA Chicago San Francisco etc. to land and sign free agent superstars

The problem is this time around you have NBA talking heads saying teams are gonna tank all over social media. You have Danny Ainge having a blowout sell and media is hyping Big Vic. It’s like a perfect storm.

The NBA wants Victor in a big city, preferably on the east or west coast. I am hoping this lottery is on the level. It has been in the past. Remember we won the lottery in '87 and '97 when we selected David Robinson and then Tim Duncan. Boston thought they were going to win in '97. It is probably the reason Rick Pitino took the Celtic job. So that gives me a little confidence that this will not be rigged. The NBA uses a third party, a partner from Ernst and Young to verify the results so I think this will go down honestly.
Just swap the Austin Spurs with the San Antonio Spurs and nobody will notice it.
