George, you stated the key occurrence for the success of the Knicks going forward is coach Thibs embracing and adapting to the youth on the roster. If that happens the 2022 New York Knickerbockers will fly this season.

Once the regular season starts Thibs will be stopping Obi as it will be back to 9 – 12 minutes a game.

I was watching some of the post game interviews with the players and most of the players looked happy, and then there was JR and he seemed to be going through the motions with his, I'm starting to wonder if he feels pressure from Obi.
Topping didn’t learn this over night.. he’s had this since he was drafted.. I say all the time coaching impacts players abilities.. toppin just needs minutes and thibs confidence
Cam needs a season of the leash to get into his true form. Hopefully he can get a guaranteed 22+ min at least until Christmas to get him into his groove.

what's good George? I think Jalen Brunson and RJ's expanded role on the team is a stabilizing force,especially Brunson showing how different things are with a established point guard running the show,he runs the show almost seamlessly and he knows when set others up in their spots and allow them to cook and he knows when to provide scoring himself and it limits Randle forcing things and playing more in the flow,as a result,Randle,Julius Randle had back to back games with zero turnovers. Let's see how long Randle accepts the role of playing more off ball. Obi Toppin was sensational he showed once again,that he's a rhythm player and when he gets significant minutes he can deliver and I agree,he needs to improve his rebounding,but,Obi can go and also,the more minutes he plays,the more he goes into his bag.
OBi Toppin is not a Power Forward he very athletic high Energy Guy who makes highlight plays can he play the 3 Dennis Rodman was 6'8 but had great lower body strength not comparing OBI to Dennis yes Randle was emotionally disruptive last year let's be honest nobody what Randle does you want him out I like the fact we have deep young basketball team I like what the front office is doing been a Knicks fan for over 42 years everyone relax
it is only Julius or Obi for a coaching genius like Tibbs. those two should be playing together the 3 and 4 with Barrett at the 2.
I think Obi is a rhythm shooter, if he plays 14-18 minutes a game you are going to get some bad looking shots from him at times. But the more minutes he gets the better his shot will look. Not all players can come into a game cold and just stroke it.
I really think ppl are letting they’re dislikes for a player to overshadow what’s most important at this time, and that is to establish WINNING games!! There is nothing wrong with having a deep team, and that means having both Randle and Toppin on the team!! There will be a time when moving on from Randle will probably take place, but common sense dictates that he can’t be moved, and that his value and contract make its so. So let’s just enjoy the potential that the team shows for a possible season of success. The team as a whole as presently constructed looks very solid. Let’s pump our brake on player movement right now 🙄

I don't know how many people noticed last night there was a fast break with Randall leading with cam on his left side and gave up the ball late fortunately cam was able to recover and scored on a reverse layup while switching hands that was sweet
Knicks turnover rate is down in the first two preseason games. Another benefit of improved PG spot.
