Yes I remember that you said the Rockets would do good to take Tari…I replied that there was no way…I have to say you called it…great call.
I thought they would target a rim protecting backup center.
Looking at the results in the sports writers poll shows you what crap we have for sports writers. We don't have writers that are deep in sports knowledge, we have sports writers that have jobs because of their shock value or to make a story out of nothing but speculation. Not all of them but it getting that way.
No way I would pick Victor just like Chet…I am old enough to remember Ralph Samson<<Rockets wasted a 1st overall pick then there was Yao…another 5 year career.
You can't risk a 1st overall pick on these tall skinny players. You have to get a full career out of your top 5 picks.
I don't know how the San Antonio Spurs are going to even win 1 game.
I'm a declared all-out anti-tanker. Purposely lose for what? To fo from 10% to 14% odds at the #1 pick? Nonsense. I'd much rather try to develop as much as we can our core. We have great talent; lets roll out KPJ, Green, Tari, Jabari and Sengun firing on all cylinders and lets see what happens! Also, who knows, maybe we get lucky and end up with a great pick anyways.
