No, the warriors value effort/defense, and quick smart decision making above all else things Melo lacks. Gary was our most valuable bench player in the finals because he could switch 1-3, get stops, rebound, and make quick decisions. Gary was the last person the Warriors wanted taking 3s, (after Dray and Loon) yet he was our most valuable bench player in the finals. Would Melo be willing to defend above all else, box out hard on every play or make the extra pass because I don't think he would. Hell Ottos 3pt percentage dropped dramatically during the playoffs (to 50%) yet still started games in the finals because he would play defense and rebound, while Bjelica got almost no minutes because of his subpar defense. I cant think of someone that doesn't fit the warriors system more than Carmelo.
Ok now that I watched this through here are some thoughts. The reason the Warriors were so good this year is because their 2nd unit was better than most other teams' first unit. Think about that for second. And now with Melo coming on the roster, you not only have Klay, Steph, and Kevon teaching these younger players how to play Warriors basketball, you get a certified vet in Melo teaching some of the bigger guys how to play the wing and post that much better. Melo can play down in the post and around the perimeter very well and has done it for almost decades now, plus with Iggy coming to a retirement year soon, Melo would be a great addition to the bench for late in game pushes of course. I can only see upside as long as Melo can accept the role that Iggy accepted when this core first won in 2015 👍
Even if the Golden State Warriors don’t go back to back I think they might be more valuable than Michael Jordan team ever was because he didn’t have the whole f*cking NBA wanting to join him just because people didn’t have a ring
If Melo can be a play maker and be in the assist role like Iguadala and Draymond, then do post-ups when needed the 2nd unit would definitely be better. Because currently the Warriors don't have another person that can play the assist role like Draymond off the bench.

Melo was 38 at the end of the season. He is like 4 or 5 months younger than me and I was born mid January 1984. 👍
I think golden state should sign Melo he would be a great asset to the team

Never was a follower of, Mello. So let's see how it pans out? Especially if the Warriors lose, Mr. Green.
