The video of Draymond Green striking Jordan Poole leaked and now the team is addressing it with the media. Draymond apologized but comments from coach Steve Kerr raised serious doubts about the Hall of Famer’s future on the team. This is a look at how it will all play out.

In Draymond's eyes he and the Warriors are all fine. He took 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 off (no try) because they weren't going to win a title anyways. So he was getting paid 50m/season for the two years he did play. Draymond keeps referring to his leadership which is a nice way to excuse lack of production. The Heat get leadership for 2m/season with Haslem. In all fairness, Draymond was good last year, but if that is the best season we will ever have from him, just looking at his age and thinking about the next 4 years after this year, then why would Green get more than 4yr/100m? By the end of that contract he will be a backup. Barkley and Shaq are always crying about how much players are paid now. They need to channel that elsewhere.

Great points about the leak. When the RJ post was reported on other channels, people were arguing about why anyone even cared about the leak when the bigger issue (to them) was the altercation. In my eyes. having anyone in your org who is willing to sell this kind of footage to TMZ is a big red flag. It opens the doors for much more nefarious things like selling training footage. Even if nothing is sold, just the knowledge that someone might film you for nefarious purposes will put players on edge and can affect their performance during both training and actual games. Sure, it's nice for the viewers because we get juicy content… but as a fan, it'll really suck if bigger trust issues ruin a team that is trying to solidify its legacy as one of the greatest in this era.
So dray created the situation which push KD away…. If dray just kept his emotion in check..that situation all together won't happen and warriors office didn't need to clean it up… Trade Draymond

I’m a hugeee warriors fan and I kinda feel like everyone is overacting over this happens to every great teams like when shaq and Kobe situation in the 2000’s the only team that could handle this is the dubs organization. This was no doubt leaked for monetary gain. Yea those guys get those jobs to get in the door of the NBA, but the Eric Spolstra route is not the norm but more an exception.

If the Dubs had any guts at all, they'd cut him and send a message. Heck, the reason it got to this point is they've been enabling his bad behavior for years. Those that say "this happens all the time," really? Show me. I've been an NBA fan 50 years. This was worse than Washington/Tomjanovich, and Portis/Mirotec. Why? Because we have video. Draymond is nearly impossible to trade for value. He’s way too important to the warriors and wouldn’t be nearly as important to any other franchise so there is no way the warriors would get value for him if they trade him
