Oh no we lost a preaseasons game, season over, sell everyone and lets start tanking for Wemby/s

Lakers should be a playin team this year (although they wont shoot nearly this well on average), they have role players that actually know how to play their role, but if either Bron or AD miss any amount of time they are fucked

Unfortunately we really missed Draymond on both ends of the court (but more defensively than offensively, especially on AD), lotta late rotation guys being in the wrong place, miscommunications, etc, didnt matter as much since the Lakers were playing mostly 2nd/3rd stringers, but against better competition we will get punished

Wiseman looked good, should be fine against most backup C’s, got cooked by AD but theres no way in the regular season Kerr leaves him on an island like that 4 plays in a row

JP had a fantastic game but it was mostly cooking the Lakers 2nd/3rd stringers, encouraging trend though especially considering the shitshow of the last 72 hours

Poole is niceeeee, we have to pay him

Draymond is still needed because defense is pretty lackluster and that won’t change without him

  3. Therealomerali

Wise has looked good this pre-season. He’s actually shown a lot of improvement.

  4. These_Ad_267

Kuminga shot better but want him to learn some other moves when attacking the basket the whole league knows about his tornado move

I have extremely good and high hopes for the young core.

They are gonna be fucking deadly pieces this season and beyond.

  6. Solid game, liked what i saw from the team for the most part. Really hope this Draymond situation becomes old news that the team and JP can legitimately get over because we definitely need his presence on the court

Please give PBJ more burn at both the 4 and the 5. This dude is so ready to contribute offensively unless he is literally useless defensively even with his high IQ. From what I’ve seen he is smart with his close outs, communicates switches well, and boxes out, doesnt foul unnecessarily. He can legit carve out a rotation spot like Moody did over Lee towards the end of the season if he keeps shooting lights out.

  8. cock-a-dooodle-do

Jordan Poole would be MVP withing 5 years. He has “it” and you can’t teach “it”.

  9. SeekingSignificance

Just pay him so I can rest peacefully 🙏

I still dont like PBJ playing a stretch 5. Otherwise he’s a perfect stretch 4, so smooth.

Also im liking that J.Green is getting comfortable in our sets and he’s a really good compliment to Wiseman in their minutes. He was a bit late sealing his man but he gets the job done.

Poole looked great and he’s going to command more than Herro. I’d bet he bets on himself and doesn’t sign until after this season.

Wiseman is getting there. He looked pretty decent tonight and will get an easy 10-15 in this system.

Moody was really quiet – need more from him.

Lamb was ehhh. I don’t know why we dropped Trevion for this guy. I don’t want him on the team.

  12. Wiseman – Need to improve his positioning and FT. Just his presence is really a big impact.

Baldwin – Really legit jumper, need to improve his defense, baldwin as a 5 is not good.

    Lamb – Liked the effort

    Jerome – I’m not sold

JP – His vibe was difference this game, he’s on a mission.

    Dante – Good

What was Kuminga doing at the end there down 3 going for a 2? Not very high iq smh

  14. first quick 2 by JK… fine
layup again at the end? did he pull a JR Smith?

    oh well… it’s only preseason.

  15. Poole looked fantastic, Steph was a walking goat, Wiggins was balling, Loon was great, Donte was slick.

Wiseman is slowly getting better, both moody and kuminga looked rough offensively, but good effort on D. PBJ looked good on offense and rough on D.

Draymond’s presense was desperately missing on offense and defense. Hopefully this should shut up some of the nonsensical trade requests.

  16. It’s too easy to strip the ball from Wiseman on the his way up. Decent defenders will hone in on that and target it all day unless he learns to take
it up stronger. Overall he wasn’t bad but my biggest takeaway is he needs to work on boxing out properly. He rebounds with just his arms and not his body to physically get into position and compete. No way he should lose out on some of those to shorter players.

I get the point of ty Jerome, what role he’s supposed to fill but I don’t think he does it any better than some of our non point guards.

  17. TinyMiracleMe

Steph, Loon and Wiggs all continuing their amazing playoff forms.

JP was electrifying. Still think he’s not at his full potential since it’s still preseason.

Moses was lowkey underwhelming. Hope he’s more aggressive in the future.

JK looks good but the handle is making his life very difficult inside the paint. Great defense though and he made all his free throws.

James looked great. Him and Jordan are gonna be sensational soon. He needs to work on his free throws though.

Donte, Quinndary, Pat Spencer and Jamychal Green all looked really good.

PBJ is good and the shot is wet but the defense can be better. Don’t think playing him at 5 is gonna work for a while at least.

Ty Jerome is just not good and Lamb brings nothing but hustle which I would prefer seeing from Quinndary or Pat Spencer or even Lester Quiñones. There’s really nothing there to offset the bad publicity and distaste of keeping a man with sexual assault allegations.

I think the main 6 guys will do well when the season starts because they’ve played with each other a lot and that Donte and JaMychal will pick up pretty quickly so it’ll be about what lineups to put together and how to incorporate the younger guys.

moody is the easiest to fit in but he can sometimes be too quiet. Wiseman showed a lot more patience today and he may still be up and down, but I can see the improvements as he plays more games. I think it’ll be interesting to see what lineups kuminga will get in, because I feel like him and wiseman are an odd fit for now. I’m thinking he gets in later in the 1st.. with him and JaMychal subbing in for Draymond and Looney.

  19. MillyMan105

The young core combined for 61 points: Poole (25), Wiseman (13), Kuminga (12), PBJ (6) and Moody (5). Love to see it we have so many options of the bench it’s gonna be a fun season.

  20. WorkerWild

Wiseman needa watch Looney film and get his positioning right

  21. 1loosegoos

    1. we better whoop them on opening day!

    2. steph, wig, jp, loon look great. nothing to worry about here. Wiseman, JK, and Moody look like they are ready to contribute. With klay and dray, that makes a solid 8 man rotation thats easily better than last year1
