Need to see him do this against regular season comp. TOUGH regular season comp. I want to believe in him but putting up monster numbers against shit teams in the preseason and the end of the regular season when teams are resting their best players doesn't really move the needle for me. If he puts up numbers like this against Memphis…on the road… in two weeks, then we can start jumping out the window.

Obi has gotten better every year significantly. Until he was held back by thibs and he's still showing improvement. Even with little opportunities. Give him a half hr or better he will make the all-star game by next year the latest.

This is what I believe will happen in the future for next season. I believe that the Knicks will trade Randle and furnior to keep obi and cam. I wouldn't be surprised to see Evan Fournier be traded sooner. But let me just say Julius Randle is one of my favorite knick. I'm rooting for him to do great this season.
OBI is a bucket getter. Knicks need scoring! He is quick enough to defend wings. So, in order to be effective, he needs consistent minutes. In this so called positionless bball era, Here is my starting 5 I’ve been hoping for awhile now:
F Obi
F Randle (until he gets traded)
C Robinson
G RJ
G Brunson
Not every player needs major minutes. The ones who fight their asses off to get extended court time and impact the game are the ones who should earn minutes.
