  1. Plays like a 6'8 guard for better or worse. It takes a lot of skill to play with so much finesse at that size, but you also want him to be able to finish around that rim with the amount of length he has. Floaters are what you work on when you want avoid finishing at the rim.

  2. So funny they got 4 guys out there for him, one to pass to Tatum, and 3 underneath to make sure no one ever really has to move to get a rebound πŸ˜‚

  3. The make/ miss is much more tolerable if he was working on both hands, different angles off the glass, picking up dribble each hand, jump stop to post up to baby hook etc; otherwise wtf we watching here lmfao…

  4. This is 100% a psychological drill. The reason is not a single floater is at game-speed or in a real-game environment. Similarly to Steph shooting from 50 ft from the bench… this seems to be Tatum’s new practice drill. He can drill 8 threes in a row in practice but the likelihood of hitting 8 floaters in a row (especially with the arc) is next to 0. Since he prides himself on being the team’s best shooter this has got to be a humbling exercise to know you only make 3 or 4 out of 10. It means he’s still got work to do and this drill emphasizes that component.
