Spencer Dinwiddie will remain the starter

And from the comments it was verified that Jason Kidd DID say previously he would come off the bench but has since changed his mind.

  1. This tweet read “It appears that we were fake news’d by the report that Dinwiddie was going to back to his bench role. He is still starting, according to Jason Kidd. S/O @dalton_trigg for the clarification”

Watch the post practice interview with Kidd from yesterday. He says Spencer is starting and he is also leading the bench unit. So pretty much will stagger with Luka except for the start and the end of the game.

    > “Right now we are looking at Spencer running that (second) group,” said Kidd over the weekend. “I thought he did a good job with that group yesterday being able to set the table for those guys.”

    > Some took those comments slightly out of context and thought Kidd was declaring Dinwiddie as no longer being the starting two-guard next to Doncic, but that’s not the case based on Kidd’s most recent comments.

    > “Yea, you look at Spencer starting there with Luka. Just Spencer being Spencer. Looking at being able to have two ball handlers out on the floor. Also, I think those two are a pretty good combination,” Kidd clarified after practice on Monday. “Then, being able to split those two, so Spencer can come back and run that second group.”

    > So, basically, Dinwiddie will start with Doncic, then their minutes will be staggered so Dinwiddie is leading the second unit throughout the game.

Yea it was pretty much that one Landon guy that tweeted that he was coming off the bench. I don’t think we got confirmation from any of the Mavs beat writers
