Just run your shoulder through shroder he’ll fold like paper mache

Never thought of Schroder as that guy but if AD is trying to dribble up and down the floor i’m glad somebody is making him work.

  3. ActualAdvice

Going to be hard when they’re your teammates too since they can’t spread the floor

No mention of Brick lol, wasn’t he going to focus on defense this year?

Careful AD Pat Bev will probably put you in street clothes for the year in practice if you beat him too much.

meaning westbrook getting locked up in practice

  7. I’m struggling to think of a cornier team recently than this year’s Lakers.

AD’s quotes are generic and super uncool. (“My body is tingling at the prospect of being the first option!”)

All of LeWineMom’s quotes are… well… corny (salute)

Russ, PatBev, and Schröder throwing out faux-humble “accepting my role” and try-hard “we’re going to surprise people” stuff

Darvin Ham “we’re going to make this work!!!”

It’s just going to be great and I can’t wait for them to be healthy, mesh well, and lose in the play-in.

Read the first part of the sentence and thought he had gotten hurt again… AD really has given fans PTSD

Patrick Beverley is probably so emotional about this

*Insert GIF of Beverley winning the Play-In World Series*

  10. I’m excited with our back court defense. Schroder may not be known a shut down defender but he can be pesky on the court and he definitely gives the effort. Pat Bev is an irritant who can get into players’ heads and he definitely not lacking of effort.

Now if we can get some wing defenders through trade, that would make the lakers a solid defensive team.

  11. The year AD learned to dribble and won the MVP.

Not saying they’ll be good or that the new guys are good. But IIRC they’re replacing 7 guys who are not on any roster with guys who theoretically deserve to be on a roster.

Ah yes the hype continues. I’ll believe it when the Lakers are in the finals again.

He can’t pull a Draymond. His hand might break

We all joke about this team, but the Lakers are quietly putting together what could easily be a play-in contending roster.

100% chance PatBev takes out Davis’s knee before the season begins with a full-on head-first missile dive for a loose ball during practice scrimmage.
