After winning the gold in 2008 Beijing olympics, Team USA lead by Kobe Bryant and LeBron James went over to the scorer’s desk and brought Doug Collins, who was part of the 1972 team which infamously lost to USSR in a controversial finish in the finals, to the podium and gave him the gold medal.

Never heard about this! That 72 team was fucked so hard.
Strangely, Tayshawn Prince was **very barely** showed in the whole documentary. You would have thought he wasn’t even on the team.
That was a really coool part of the doc. I had no idea in real-time but that was a really awesome move by them.
