My only problem with this game is that i want to see more of Cain, Jovic and Bouyea. I hope we can find a spot for them during regular season

The Herro/Bam future is going to be a long prosperous duo.

I like our starting lineup but I want to see how we compare against some size (height). Caleb on Giannis is not ideal.

Extremely fun preseason and tons of encouraging signs.
Canāt wait for next week.

Now that preseason is over letās talk about the elephant in the roomā¦ is the social media team gonna keep playing the winning song after a dub? š Iām not ready for that to stop happening

Herro with 4 blocks? š
Bam with 12 FTAs is nice.

Herro coming for that DPOY incentive š„¶š„¶

If Bam and Herro improve their weakness, Lowry’s shape intact, Jovi’s development, and get 80% of Pacers Dipo, then we might get back to the finals.

Bam just said spo doesnāt know whoās gonna start in the postgame interview

Shout out to Caleb Martin.
Last season he was a key role player, tonight he was 9-6-2 with 2 blocks on 3-7 shooting.
No plays getting run for him, his janky looking jumper still working, great defense. I donāt think last season was an outlier season for him.

You can hate on Herro enjoying his celebrity status (still much more tamer than other players do) but you can’t deny he’s listening to criticism and always works on his game.

This is only the preseason, but these past few games has change my opinion of this team going into this team a **lot** compared to the end of the offseason.
Bam and Herro looked like they have every bit as much chemistry as starters together as they did when Tyler came off the bench. I was worried looking at Herroās starting splits in previous seasons, but I now feel like heāll be just fine. Plus, his defense looked very solid tonight.
Bam especially looked aggressive every game he played, and I was really happy to see that tonight while he shared the floor with Butler, since previously it really only seemed like Bam was aggressive when Jimmy was injured/not playing great. If they can play even 75% as good as they did tonight, and let Butler run the offense along with Lowry, stepping in during the clutch when needed, my fears of a repeat of the 2021 season (where Jimmy had to carry the offense through game after game, running completely out of steam before the playoffs) will be gone.
Jovic and Cain have looked amazing these last few games. Cain looks like a great future floor runner, distributing type, and his defense is pretty nice. The fact that Spo ran Jovic with the starters says a *lot* about how he thinks the kidās development is going, and he looked great. If he ends up developing into being a playable backup 4 this season, heāll open up the offense a lot as a big, passing 4 that can hit shots.
Caleb at the starting 4 looks pretty great. He was talking all offseason about improving his offense, and it shows. Spo used him a lot more than I thought he would tonight in a lot of different ways.
Honestly, the only negatives I saw these preseason games is that Dipo hasnāt looked good. I hope heās just still conditioning/acclimating to our offense, because if heās clicking this season heās an easy 6MOY candidate.
Overall, I think myself (and a lot of this subreddit) overreacted towards our lack of offseason moves. We may not be the first seed again this season, but I easily expect us to be top 4.

It was exciting to see some wild line ups, the new guys strut some stuff, the old guys showing off new stuff. Should be an interesting season.
