On October 11, 2022, The Orlando Magic took on the Memphis Grizzlies in a preseason game at the Amway Center. Usually preseason games are meant to be low stress games to ramp up for regular season games. However, this game had the feel of a regular season game… Ja Morant and Desmond Bane combined for 56 points, while the Magic had 6 players score double figures. And despite Memphis playing their starters 30+ minutes, the young Magic still pulled through with an impressive win. So let’s talk about how the Magic got here, and how they vastly improved their offensive scheme thanks to new head coach, Jamahl Mosley.
