Things we need to see in the Boston Celtics preseason finale

The Celtics wrapped up practice for the week, and they take on the Toronto Raptors on Friday. John Karalis of Boston Sports Journal and Tom Westerholm discuss the things they’d like to see happen in that final preseason game, including Luke Kornet getting some run, the bigs figuring out how to free up their wings, Malcolm Brogdon and Jayson Tatum hitting shots, Joe Mazzulla tested as a coach, and more.

  1. The final preseason hand is all about getting your starters out as early as possible with no injuries. Let the bench guys play the game and get ready to start the season. Go Celtics!!!

  2. i say we use pp in the 1st half of the season to lessen the minutes of our key players then trade him at the deadline for assets (like a couple of picks like 2 low 1st rounders or a young defensive big with potential and a low 1st rounder). there's no path to playoff minutes for him this year and hauser has made him redundant.

the assets we can use to consolidate talent in the future or to get a replacement for al as he goes into the twilight of his career.
