the bench struggle without drose..no open shot making No real PG bench.
Quickley cannot run a team to close out games. He does not distribute the ball and dribbling around with the ball is tiring hence is lack of defense.

Many of us have been saying for a long time now, Quick will chuck shots no matter what. Doesn't matter if he's having a bad night or good one, he's going to shoot rather than make the correct read. Quick is best suited as 6th man for now. If he comes in and can't hit shots then just bench him until next gm. Thibs better find a 6th man A and 6th man B.
Don't baby your boy quick! Don't let him run the team, very obvious he a ball hog, that's why the group sucks
These preseason games were valuable
Knicks baby the hell out of IQ but Alonzo Trier , who was actually a baller got dog housed after 1 rookie season where Kevin Knox & Frank Ntlikina were prioritized players under Fizdale lol. All we heard was "Trier is a ball hog"
Who was Trier suppose to pass the ball to on THAT team ?????? Lol sad man. Now he ain't even in the league. That's the curse of the Knicks
The Cam Reddish experiment is a bust… Fournier should be the scorer off the bench and Grimes plays good defense for the first unit. JB was rushing his shoot. Randle was passing the ball.
Oh and i keep seeing people saying "Julius is playing better" the man is still leading the team in assists with fewer touches and fewer minutes & playing faster… Yet majority of his shots in pre season are jumpers.
He still has no spacing to operate in the low post. There's a difference in how teams guard Julius & how they guard RJ… They'll live with RJ getting his..
Randle.. They want to keep him out the paint… Seems like everyone but the Knicks know that Julius' x factor is operating in the low post with spacing.
All i hear is " can he duplicate close to shooting 41% from 3pt" WHEN THAT WAS NEVER HIS GAME !!!! 😆 HE just added a shot to his game.
He was doing his damage in the paint before the Knicks.
Why the hell does Obi Toppin get to play with a stretch big before Julius Randle?? Lol
If the Knicks want to win…. RJ cannot lead the team in shot attempts every night..
Some nights it'll flow that way but Julius & Brunson cleary put the most pressure on the defense.
Seriously, look how slow RJ moves, & he still gets to the paint with little resistance.
It's not that easy to score when defenses actually key in on you. Don't get me wrong.. I trust RJ to deliver but teams will live with RJ leading the team while Randle is only afforded jumpshots as a playmaking 3rd option & Brunson making tough shots with little spacing .
Because Randle & now Brunson are on the floor, RJ has more opportunities to attack because defenses are mainly focused on stopping those two this season.
We're in year 4 & Julius Randle still can't get into the paint regularly in a knick uniform.. Only the Knicks can drop the ball on this
