Keldon and Vassell played amazing that game.
Keldon looks ready to go! Vassel seemed more confident with him on the floor. It was a great first view of what’s to come. Loved the starting line up!!! But we need to have Brahnam on the 2nd team ASAP!!!

KBD, McDermott and Richardson need to be traded before their value drops anymore.

I really enjoyed our Starting 5's performance against Utah! Sochan "blended in" very well, but sometimes gets overpowered. Oh well. He is only 19. Pleased with Branham too! Bright future for our Spurs! Excited for the present and future too! Go Spurs!

Lol what makes you think that Primo is now somehow the focal point or ready for it — he’s a piece, hes still young & they are developing different parts of his game gradually as he grows, he won’t even be starting, he will be in the 2nd unit taking on a Lonnie type role, this season is going to be built around Devin & Keldon — they are captains, they are going to lead the effort on defense & offense & Spurs will evaluate if they can continue to build around with them or increase their value if they move them, the crazy part is Pop having his PFs & bigs stretch out to the perimeter & shoot more 3s, all of ‘em have increased their attempts aside from Jakob, & Jakob showing growth, hes definitely worked on his handle & drives to the basket
2 things about Keldon.
1. He can definitely be a role-player type all star when the team returns to contention. As you said, they do exist and Klay is the perfect example of that. Man doesn’t even dribble, but what he does, he does so well that it has bumped him up to all-star status (future HOFer status actually).
2. I’m not banking on Keldon adding to his game, but I’m also not ruling it out. He’d have to learn how to create space for himself to develop that midrange game, which would make him a 3 level scorer. If that happens, he’ll draw doubles and will need to learn how to pass out of them, which would make him a force on offense. Again, I’m not expecting all that, but I haven’t ruled it out as a possibility.
the first, and most obvious takeaway is—-devin vassell is NOTICEABLY bigger. I felt (and still think) he's our best player and will be our best player this year. second, malaki branham just look outs of place. not sure if he's not being aggressive enough or asserting himself more—-he just doesn't stand out. he'll make a few shots…but nothing that jumps out at you. third, Isaiah roby is going to be really good once he gets use to the offense. there is so much to his game that people haven't seen yet. high IQ guy for sure. I love tre jones—he reminds a lot of rajon rondo (probably the most underrated player…ever). he's going to be good for this team.

Clan I love you and your videos but Devin Vassell made his first three or four shots stepping back in the mid range or side step fading in the mid range he didn’t do that much catch and shoot in this game I think we’ll see him in catch and shoot situations but he showed he had grown a bit
Your right but also very wrong about Devin he has a really nice mid range game. He hit some tuff pull-ups that he made look easy cause he’s sneaky long pause. He had 24 without playing in the 4th😳

Primo was getting better and better as the game went on. He was a bit rusty after his injury he will definitely be back in shape next game.
Josh primo is no where ready no time soon it gonna be another full year or two before he gets to a decent player but he is not gonna be a star not hating on him but I think he needs a lot of time. way more than some thinks don't even know if is pick was a very good pick at that spot when the spurs takes him.

primo ball handling is not good he is not ready.

Keldon and Vessell played well and the others stepped up a bit. I wouldn’t necessarily call this growth . I expected Sochan to be better as he hasn’t really shown in my opinion that he is a top 10 pick .
3 things I saw in this game: Joshua primos age still shows when trying to make plays, he’s not great right now but I did see improvement, he’s only 19 so nobody should be hard on him right now. Keldon looks flawless on every part of HIS game which is great to see. And our rookies have not played good basketball at all but I think malaki is probably going to be our best rookie out of our picks.
I feel like you’re trying to push primo so hard but you doing that doesn’t make you look good at all because you’re the only person that doesn’t see what we are all seeing. Try to be a lot more subjective with him just like how you are with vassell.
I hope you will be able to take the Primo glasses off and honestly critique his game the way you do every other player. Everyone else you have a pro and a con for them but Primo everything is amazing, everything's perfect. I like your videos but come on man

Vassell had two step backs wtf. Him and keldon looked like a tatum jaylen light out there. They weren't hesitant at all, although Primo looked like he was still thinking too much out there
How could Tre score 13 points if all he did was dump it off to Vassell and Johnson? If Tre can get 13 points just dumping off to other players, then we are golden. Tre is the Spurs starting point guard. He has less turn overs. Did Langford come alive because he finally got a chance to play or is this an anomaly? I feel Branham will be as good as Vassell given time. Blake will be a very good guard also given time. As far as Primo goes, can’t make a judgement until mid-season. Hopefully he’s everything you say he is, however, I think he going to be like you said Keldon is, a very good roll player.
Primo looked slow, didn’t look or play hungry imo. It isn’t about him passing the ball to Vassel or KJ. He, himself didn’t look good period and this is coming from someone who was extremely high on him in the beginning.
I’m shocked that KBD has played this much and is still on the team. He has reached his ceiling imo. And, Primo needs to be playing a lot more, with first and second team.
