Draymond when asked about his contract: “If you are going to let a contract situation linger, then you better be damn sure that you are willing to handle ALL the effects of the contract lingering, um, that it can have on the team.”

I added emphasis in capital letters when he emphasized his words. I think it’s interesting that compared his situation to steph and lebron. In some ways it can be read as a threat/warning to the front office, some of it can be interpreted as self reflection

Is he threatening to make things a lot more uncomfortable?? Lool..

Warriors FO praying that he declines the player option

Wiggins/Poole both expire this season and are more important for the future, can’t pay them both + Dray at the same time.

I can’t believe this dude’s behavior could possibly have ended up costing Golden State three potential championships by the time it’s all said and done

I have no words for draymond. The dude is an incredible basketball player, but the praise stops there

  5. kush-dynasty

i don’t think ppl care about draymonds contract situation as much as jordans.

everyone know draymond not getting another payday lol

The punchings will continue until the contract situation improves.

Warriors’ punishment to Draymond should have been no podcasts/talking to the media all season

  8. foleshurtswentz

This dude a role player who got gifted steph curry for his entire career and thinks that he can talk shit and act like some star diva.

Dude probably thinks steph was gifted draymond green lmao

He gone and he knows it. He’s going to cry when traded

Wonder how this whole situation will impact his podcast and new media ambitions? Do people tune in more to see what he has to say or do people switch off because of this incident?? I personally enjoy when he talks hoop and breaks the game down as he provides some great hoop insight for fans.

This is AFTER he punched his teammate?

Never underestimate Dray’s ability to disappoint sometimes. He can give but he can take.

He’s still on the positive, but he is burning his bridges right now. Not a wise thing when you are in a bag year. This guy’s ability to go on self-destruct mode is unprecedented. Either he shuts up or he’s gonna be speaking his mouth elsewhere before the end of the season.

Yeaaaa despite what happened Poole is still a shit talker with an ego.

This shit isn’t ending anytime soon. Guessing the warriors have been non-commits when they’ve discussed a new contract and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if dray takes that personal. Pooles inevitably extension just gonna raise the tension

Dog, how much does poole have to suffer for this contract to work?

  15. briefchief

Warriors, blink twice if you are in danger.

This sub needs more Golden State content. It’s a shame the team is so underrepresented here, they just won the championship and now have 4 with this group.

Let’s go Reddit figure it out.

    More Draymond please

Season hasn’t even started and Draymond is determine to make everyone hated him as much as last season playoff memphis fans.

  18. Aquaireeus

His comments about Poole acting different was just projection and it’s actually Draymond is the one acting different.

Draymond on a mission to become the worst possible version of himself

  20. Once dray realizes what he’s actual worth he’ll change his tune real quick. Which team would throw 90+ mil at him? Legit? CHA, DET, SAC? None of them. Only a fringe up and coming team ready to make that next step and right now teams i mentioned are 2 years away.

  21. rawsharks

From the context of the full video it doesn’t really seem like a threat/warning. He explicitly says he’s not going to let his contract situation affect the team, and I think he’s talking more about how other players might let it affect the team unlike Lebron/Steph.

  22. Dependent-Job1773

I’m starting to think this guy has some type of narcissistic personality disorder. I remember how odd it was that he thought Curry cried after winning the championship because it meant Green got another ring. He needs to shut the fuck up.

  23. froznblade

No smart team is paying draymond more than the warriors. Watch the season where it was draymond with no Steph to see how unplayable that guy is without an all time floor spacer
