The difference between tatum and brown is small. At Tatum best he’s obviously better. But he isn’t consistently great. They both turn the ball over. They both lose their handle hear and there. They both take bad shots sometimes. I think where I personally like brown better is his aggressiveness getting to the rim. Sometimes I hate JT getting a guard on him and not getting a layup or foul. He goes away from contact too much

i’m ngl mustard, you probably won’t see this take, but here it goes. i think jaylen brown is better than tatum so maybe that explains why i think this but that’s not the take. my take is that it’s purely tatums fault they lost the finals. jb was hooping the whole series and he was the celtics best player. i don’t think it was his fault they lost tbh

Smart was a part of all of those turn overs and bad shots last year too. All 3 of them threw in so many plays.
Jaylen brown is almost as good as Tatum. More consistent. Brown is more turnover prone with a looser handle but JB will always be aggressive and impact the game. Tatum can be passive

Tatum literally had a fractured wrist during this entire run. That Giannis block kinda did it for him for the playoffs. He somehow was able to drop 46 after that but the affects from then on were very noticeable.
As a Celtics fan, the only thing I disagree is some of the praise for Marcus Smart. I think he is a little overrated as a defender. He commits too many bad shots and turnovers in game especially in the finals. Other than that, thanks for the great video on them. Hopefully we do have a good season.

I think Jason Tatum is better than jaylen but jaylen is wayyyyyy better as a iso scorer and it’s not even close. Analytics back this up and eye test backs this up too. He’s a better self creator even tho his dribble could be better.
