They're not "smearing" him they're saying ppl don't punch their teammates "all the time" and they're right. He's very important to the team everyone knows that but He crossed the line this time. Own it, don't call out anyone else.
I disagree with Stephen about people using this incident as an excuse to smear Green's name. Everyone saw how Green acted on the court, and we know he let his emotions get the best of him. Now we also saw how he reacts in private practice. I can also make a case that Green's defenders are trying to divert attention away from the punch by saying people are trying to smear his name.
“Anger management”, “this dude is out of control”, yeah people will tend to say things like that if you punch someone for no reason
